Land Distribution & Specialised Road Logistics

From routine distribution to complex project movements.

OML Africa Logistics provides integrated road logistics across Kenya and the wider East African region – from corporate distribution to heavy haulage, out-of-gauge movements and complex multi-stage project logistics.

We don’t simply provide trucks. We plan the movement around the cargo, the route, the equipment, the risks and the delivery requirements.

Proven at Scale

42.1M+ tonnes moved  ·  22.1M+ kilometres  ·  4.4M+ man-hours  ·  99.6% on-time delivery  ·  0 major HSE incidents – 4 years

Our experience spans corporate distribution, heavy and specialised transportation, oilfield logistics, mining and infrastructure projects, and major project mobilisations across the region.

What We Move and How

Project Logistics

Complex projects involve hundreds of coordinated movements. OML manages equipment, machinery, materials and support resources across the full project cycle – from mobilisation and site delivery to inter-site movement and demobilisation – drawing on fleet management, route planning, journey management, security and operational coordination for oil & gas, mining, energy and infrastructure projects.

Specialised Logistics

OML provides specialised logistics for heavy, oversized and out-of-gauge (OOG) loads, including heavy machinery, industrial equipment and project cargo. Each movement is assessed against load, dimensions, weight, route and access requirements. Route surveys address bridge clearances, road conditions, turning points, traffic restrictions and security before the vehicle moves.

Equipment Transportation

Movement of equipment and machinery between ports, storage facilities, project sites and drilling locations – coordinated around project schedules and site requirements for clients in oil & gas, mining, construction, energy and infrastructure.

Safety & Journey Management

Safety is built into how we plan and execute every movement.

Journey management controls cover vehicle readiness, driver readiness, route conditions, planned rest breaks, journey monitoring and escalation procedures. Road operations require a 30-minute break every four hours; night movement is avoided unless operationally required. Our fleet is tracked in real time via Fleetwave and Mix Telematics.

OML Africa Logistics is ISO 9001:2015 certified.

Built on Regional Experience

OML operates across Kenya and the wider East African region – along the Northern Corridor and on routes into Uganda, Rwanda, South Sudan and beyond.

Route conditions, security, infrastructure, regulatory requirements, weather and site access all affect a journey in this market. Our role is to identify those requirements early and build them into the plan – before they become problems on the road.

One Logistics Partner. Every Stage of the Movement.

Whether distributing products, transporting an oversized load, mobilising a project or managing a complex multi-stage requirement, OML brings together the fleet, people, planning, technology and operational controls to deliver – including equipment mobilisation, material handling, lifting, convoy management and site coordination where required.
